I walked on my treadmill for 30 minutes, 2.6 miles per hour. The treadmill says that I burned 167 calories. Fit day says only 67 calories? Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Fit day exercise question
Fitday does averages, so it's not going to be accurate for everything. I put in a custom one for my elliptical time, using the numbers from the machine. It came out to I think 10.32 calories per minute. BUT according to the machine, the number of calories burned varies from that based on how fast I go and resistance levels. So one day I do 60 minutes and it says I burned 670 calories and the next day I may burn 750 for the same time.
I don't sweat the differences, but if you are sort of averaging the same amount when you workout on the treadmill, then just put your own custom entry in for the treadmill and use that instead of theirs.

Re: Fit day exercise question
The software you buy is well worth the $19.95 you pay for it. You have a lot more features with it that really come in handy. You can put in custom foods with the fat, carbohydrate, protein listed on the label when an item you eat is not in their listing. It has all types of reports with graphs that you're able to use that tracks your progress. I highly recommend you buying the FitDay software and downloading it to your computer.
