This has been in my mind for a while. I'd like to know which one you guys think is better. I visit the gym everyday for an hour, now the problem is that I do dance for an hour (salsa,merengue) it's very very fun. But I'm wondering if I'm neglecting the treadmill. Can anyone give me advice?

there are dance exercise videos so ifyou are doing it nonstop and you are doing it fast enough to get your heart up to your target rate for at least 20 min of cardiac workout then yoi are fine for heart heath weight loss needs around 45 min of exercise so the question is how fast and how continuoius are you doing it?by the book atkinseer

There's a big difference between dancing and dance aerobics.
Dance aerobics have you constantly moving using simple steps whereas dance is more flowing and less strenuous.
Any dance/step aerobics class at the gym will help condition you for fancy dancing. You won't really need the treadmill.
