  • I get so red

I don't know why it is, but when I workout my face gets really, really red. I mean like a raspberry red. It is kind of embarressing walking around with a red face for about 30 minutes after working out. Why do you guys think that is?

A friend told me that it's because I don't sweat on my face very much and so instead of it cooling down my face just gets really hot. I guess this makes sense, does this happen to any of you guys? And what should I do to avoid having a raspberry face everytime I go to the gym?

I suffer from the same "red face" problem with the exception that I do sweat on my face(and everywhere else). Wow I am super sexy after my runs!!!--I have never heard of a way to control it.

A lot of people have this issue.
Try wearing some more breathable synthetic clothes so you don't overheat.
Also you may want to lower the intensity of your workout and go a little longer instead.

How 'bout a quick splash of water on your face after you run?

I have the same problem, except my face gets beat red on a few more occasions. When I get upset, working out, or if I get frustrated. I haven't looked into it much, but I think its got something to do with your genes. Its not a big deal for me though since it goes away after a few minutes. Try takeing a break and breathing deep for a few minutes it helps for me.
