  • Food Timing and Excercise

    I was wondering what and when I should eat before and after working out. I've been doing the Couch to 5K from coolrunning.com thanks to a great tip from one of your posts! I run on the treadmill at home in the am after I get the girls up and busy. I'm also trying to get motivated to do Slim in 6 again...I should go dig it out of the closet right now! Thanks for any tips!

    Don't eat much if anything before working out...especially cardio. You want to maximize your fat burn.
    Afterwards try to eat some protein to aid muscle recovery.
