Lateral Thigh Trainer

A friend mentioned a lateral thigh trainer ('twist & shape' or something like that) which she has seen on shopping TV. Just saw the commercial and read a few lines on review websites. Seems to be a stepper with some sideward motion included.

Does anyone here use this item? Is it useful? would you buy it?
