I am getting cortisone injections in my knees to increase mobility, lessen pain and allow me to work out more. Has ony every had an experience with these they can share?

I've had injections in my heels for spurs but not in my knees. They worked really well.

Yeah I had the heel thing too and it worked well. I had a weird nervous reaction to it, but I think it was because the foot Dr. was a friend of mine.

My husband has a horrible case of tennis elbow from weightlifting, he recently had a cortisone shot (his 2nd, had one last year that worked well). However, he was told to rest the joint for at least 2 weeks and didn't. Big mistake, ended up in worse pain. so if you do it..make sure you take it easy on your knees afterwrods.
