Hello, ladies and gents. I can hardly believe it, but next Saturday will be my first 5K! I started wogging (walking/jogging) back in mid June, and I remember clearly the first time I could do one mile. Now I can do 4-5, and though I'm slow as all get out I have fun and love to run.
Which is why I'm here. Since I'm down to my last week, I'd like to get any and all tips/ideas/suggestions that you all have about the week before a race. I just feel like I should be doing something different or better. Probably silly, I know, but it's keeping me motivated.
So, anything you'd like to share? Have a particularly Atkins-friendly food that is your secret weapon? Any tips you wish you'd known on your first race?
