How many laps in a mile

I've started swimming and my goal is to do 50 miles. So how many laps in one mile.? Its an Olympic size pool
LOL it took me 5 minutes to do 2 laps, so I think I have a lot of swimming to do.
I also have started doing water arobics and find that its like the perfect exercise for this old lady. My arthritis doesn't seem to hurt as much in a pool, if you know what I mean.

Re: How many laps in a mile

An Olympic-sized pool is 50 meters long. There is approximately 1600 meters in a mile, so it would take about 32 laps to swim a mile.
