  • Check Out This Treadmill!!!

This is on my wish list for next year!! DD and I saw this while shopping this weekend...it was great, DD got on and jacked that thing up to 30% it just about tossed her off...we're talking some good training for hiking!!

The ReebokĀ® 15305 Incline Trainer Treadmill offers a 2.0 continuous-duty commercial-grade motor and double-sided deck with a 30% maximum incline. Comfort Cushioning helps absorb shock and reduce stress on your joints and ligaments while working out. An EKG grip pulse heart rate monitor helps you track your heart rate during your workout, while the 4-window LED display lets you monitor your progress and adjust your speed and incline.

Morning, sweetness! You can gain incline on a treadmill by placing the treadmill on a wood surface safely under the treadmill. It's how my FIL trains (he needs extreme incline, so he has his up on blocks in the front, so to speak). To me, it looks like the gimmick is the incline, but the belt is extremely short and not terribly wide, so all you get is incline and not much for running or long strides walking, etc. I'd spend the $1600 on a better treadmill with a lower incline and other good benefits I mentioned, knowing you can retrofit for greater incline later.

Wow! People at the gym would really start looking at me strange if I did an incline of 30%

I haven't researched the site I'm linking you to exclusively, but it does give some reviews and feedback. I love my Smooth treadmill, all things being equal and for the price. It's what I have (the 9.1 series), and the ratings for it are surprisingly good for a brand you might have never heard of before. I know I'm a believer.

              Re: Check Out This Treadmill!!!

Definately Looks cool. LOL. How wide is the Belt. My treadmill that I run on at home is shorter then this one it's soo cheap but, I am saving to buy a new one. The best way to know Shelly if you will even like it at all is try it out gitl. Take your shoes in and try it. I won't buy anything with less then a 18 inch belt mine right now has a 16 inch and I can run on it but, I like more room to wander LOL. The longer running/walking surface is nicer too cause then you don't have to shorten your stride at all so that is another consideration like Cleo said.

You never know unless you try though everyone is built sooo different so what is ok for you may not be for say me.

Look for one with 3.0 HP in your price range. Makes a difference!

the belt on that one is 20 inches wide. actually at 52 inches it will depend on her stride for me it is too short but for somebody with shorter legs and a shorter stride it might be worth it. I like the built in fans but didn't see waterbottle holding specs LOL

Some good points! Thanks for sharing! And yes, now that I'm reading a little more of the comparison chart detail, I see the tread length is pretty short and 3 HP would be better to have...yep, more shopping around for me!

I like the Smooth treadmill cleo...that's a nice one!

And yes, wanna, the 30% incline was amazing though, I couldn't believe it...I wish the picture had it at full incline...OMG!!

If you need another specific treadmill recommendation, look for a Trimline 345,350, or 360 (the one I have) in your area. I got one for just around $1000, and at that price it is hard to be beat. (Normally it is a $1900 Treadmill, and it is US-made quality treadmill.)
