  • Sneakers with Videos?

Is it really necessary to wear sneakers while doing a workout video? I forgot to put on a pair the other day and I was able to move between stretches and power yoga moves a lot easier on the wall to wall carpeting and haven't put them back on since. Maybe I shouldn't be moving so easily? Dunno. What do you guys do?

    Re: Sneakers with Videos?

To be honest I have never done a workout video, but I suppose my short answer would be, do what ever you feel comfortable doing.

I would be interested to see what other people have to say on the subject, but for me, I dont think it makes much difference. Just do what feels right to you.

Hope this is some sort of help?

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

What they say in the Yoga Booty Ballet video is that barefoot is fine, EXCEPT when you are doing anything with weights.

I do wear sneakers when doing execise videos - unless it's yoga, pilates, or tai chi. For everything else the ankle/arch support is important - especially for weight lifting and things like step aerobics.
