K I just finished my First BFL Upper Body workout all in all it went really well. I know I need to up the weight in some stuff but, I haven't done it for a while so I was a bit conservative for my first workout.
Checking in for day 1. I admit I did nothing today, but I only just decided to start so don't roast me over the coals . I'll start with cardio tomorrow.
Oh dear LOL. There are lots of different exercises that you can do for now do exercises that you are farmiliar with then later on I will help you add some exercises all right.
First off how to know what is the right weight well. If you have very low Upper body Strength Rule of Thumb is when you get to the last set of 6 it should be very difficult to do the 6 reps like you could not do another rep. LOL. How to find this out is to try different weight ranges. When you find a weight that is hard for 6 reps you have found your Max weight for that exercise it will be different for every exercise. If you find that Say you Max weight is at 30 Lbs I would start your First 12 reps at 10 lbs and go up 5 pounds for each decrease in reps. I sure hope I am making at least a littles sence this is where it's so much easier to just be there.

I would start out with some very simple basic Exercises like laid out on the BFL websight it shows how to do them along with Proper Form which is extreely important.

I'm waiting for the base exchange with all the sports equipment to get in some 8 and 10 lb dumbbells. OH if only I'd bought that 5lb barbell (with plates to go 9, 13 & 17) before the packers came last May!! I don't even want to know how much they would charge me to ship THAT over here! LOL
Edited to add: Okay, I just checked with Walmart.com and the shipping for it is only $8.97! Hmmm, may have to ask hubby for a late Christmas/early Valentine's gift.
Great Job Everyone I did my Cardio today I did one hour not the 20 minute Blast But, I used the same principles for my workout I am sooo tired and I think I am getting sick too YUUCK!!
