Science of Sport: Are the Atkins, Zone, and South Beach Diets Slowing you Down??

What a Bogu article. I hate when People just write with one side of the storey. Did thay ask anyone who has been low carbing for any length of time to do this study. HIGHLY DOUBTFUL. Maybe they shoudl ask Stu Mittleman the Ultra Marathoner who ran 1000 miles in a week UH HUM LOW carb. LOL.

Well all I know is that running on Low carb is Way better then running on a Sugar High. I don't get Muscle fatigue like I did before I can run for Hours without anything but water and I feel good after there are so many faulses in this article it makes me wanna HURL.

lol oh we got to love the last sentance in her opening arguement

This article will give you the low down on the effects of low carbohydrate dietary trends on running performance and ultimately shed light on the top ten reasons why a dietary focus on healthy carbohydrate sources (such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains) will always aid in health and running performance.
I thought she said Atkins was bad for running.

wwwwwwwooooo betty! you look great!!!! just had to say that .
i thought this quote from yemeitegreen's article says it all...

"Before we take a look at her "evidence," let me state the obvious - low-carb diets are most appropriate for weight loss or to manage specific metabolic disorders…and most runners aren't inclined to be severely overweight or obese and I’d hazard a guess that few are suffering with the major metabolic dysfunctions that low-carb diets tend to reverse."
