I thought it would be interesting to find out what got you RUNNING?
For me, it was a sort of "tongue-in-cheek" dare to myself .. I was never an athlete, or anything remotely close to a runner. I started walking daily back in 2002 and then worked up to speed walking. From there, just a "wild hair" idea to give jogging a try ..
THE REST, AS THEY SAY, IS HISTORY........
What about you?

After that...I thought it would be soooo cool to do a triathlon. For whatever reason...I just admired the triathletes so much and I wanted to be able to call myself one. So I started running. There's something about running over 40 minutes that feels soooo good. I dunno how to say it. For me...getting up to that point is such a chore....then once I hit that 40 minute mark....it's a challenge and I push myself more and more. I actually like biking more, but I'm looking forward to putting a marathon on my resume.

My BRAIN loves to run, my body puts up a fight ... but I AIN'T GONNA QUIT! Diana, I know you won't either!
