If you are working out rigorously (like jogging or running, for example) and sweating alot, don't forget to add potassium to your list of supplements.
I learned this lesson yesterday .. I was out doing my usual run and suddenly, AUGH! Cramp in the left calf
.. so I stopped, stretched it out until it relaxed .. continued my journey and within another 100 yards .. BAM, another cramp in the right leg ...
I haven't been taking potassium during the cooler months, but now that its in the mid 80s here ... um.... note to self: TAKE POTASSIUM!
Just wanted to give you guys and gals a heads up!! Nothing hurts like a rock hard calf muscle!
