Hey guys, what can i eat to stop the carb monster or the induction flu from taking over defeating the whole purpose of this lifestyle? I have been to the gym the past two days, ive done roughly 8 miles in those two days (its a start) and right after, im dizzy and feel awful. I am going to the gym in 30 mins and i dont want to do it again. I've broken my induction twice because of this. I normally have a piece of cheese with me, but obviously thats not enough. Please give me some suggestions, i do not want to stop working out. I can focus on this diet, but when it comes to exercise im extra hungry! Any ideas.... thanx

Re: Post workout meal or snack
Have a good high protein, high fat meal no less than 1 hour before your workouts. That's what I do before my long runs and I never seem to have a problem. Also, are you well-hydrated before working out?
Hang in there!

Re: Post workout meal or snack
I usually workout on an empty stomach and eat the piece of cheese right before
. I also drink my water during and after the exercise. I am between this site and bodybuilding.com but it's all so confusing!
will increase my water intake though....

Re: Post workout meal or snack
I know it sounds backwards, but Betty's onto something. I always felt better about my morning workout if I have a proper breakfast before, usually something like bacon and eggs or the mock danish.
(I say felt because now I have more carbs in my breakfast ^_^)230/154?
