Hi everyone, I've been going to the gym now for about a month and when I workout it's usually for three hours and I do both my cardio and weight training together. Should I continue this because I've heard from a few people that I should do cardio every other day and the same with weight training.

break up your weight training so you do a group of muscles every other day like upper body on M-W and lower on T-TH as muscles need a day to repair from lifting micro tears.
you can do cardio every day if you want but for heart health you only need to do it 3 times a week. exercising for heart health and for weight loss have different goals and schedules.by the book atkinseer
