  • Slim In 6 vs. Turbo Jam?

I've seen Turbo Jam on the TV constantly, and I'm starting to give in to it's power lol. But I've heard great things about Slim In 6 too.

People who know either or both of these products, what would you recommend?

I dont have long periods of time to use the, so short programs (under 20minutes) would suit me better.

Also, I don't want anything that requires use to extras, such as bands, weights etc.

And finally, I get bored with repetetive exercise and give up.

    What would you recommend?

    Hey Steph

If you don't have more than 20 minutes or so to workout, neither of these programs is going to suit your needs. Slim In Six workouts are about 50-60 minutes long. Turbo Jam workouts are right around 40-50 minutes as well. Si6's first workout video is about 25 minutes and TJ has a 20 minute video, but the rest of the videos in both programs are considerably longer.

Si6 does require resistance bands or weights.

TJ doesn't require weights or stretchy bands for most of their workouts, but do for some.

Either way, you're going to need them.

If repitition is an issue for you, Slim In Six is definitely out. TJ has a lot more variety to it, but it's going to cost you considerably more to get it....they have *several* videos.

I hope this helps a bit!

They sell turbo jam on Ebay for less. Check it out! I got The Firm on Ebay for $20.00 w/ 5 DVD's instead of 3. There's nothing wrong w/ it except for the fact that there were some paint splatters on it. There's always someone selling old exercise equipment & DVD's. It's a good place to get a deal. Good Luck!!

Hmm, I may go for Turbo Jam instead then, but thanks for the help! I work 7am to 10pm every day, and I already squeeze in 3 miles of walking into my day! I leave my house at 6am, park 1.5 miles from my job and walk into the city. That takes 20 minutes. Then I dont get home til 11pm and I need to go straight to bed in order to get up the next day.

But if that's how the videos are going to be, then perhaps I should get TJ and just do it on my days off. I'm lucky that because I work such long days, I only work 3 or 4 days a week!
