I just "graduated" to the second week of the Couch to 5k. I'm not a runner again yet, maybe arould week 8 or nine I'll feel like I can call myself one.

Fozzy, you ARE a runner. You are committing to it, doing it, therefore, YOU ARE. Don't think anything else!! Congrats on moving up to week 2! GREAT!

Monday: 6.3 brutal hot steamy miles. Ugh, the dog months just kill me.

Week 2 day 2 and I felt really pretty good today. I rode the bike at the settings right in the middle levels for 15 minutes I ran/walked 2.30 miles (still on the treadmill till I feel stronger) in the 30:00 minutes. warm up walk five running for 20 and cool down for 5 minutes. I still find it strange that the bike seems to clock a lot more calories burned than the treadmill and I'm really sweating like a hog when I run ( I also still feel like a hog when I run LOL)

Wednesday: It rained earlier in the day than it usually does, so it had cooled down to a brisk 75 degrees when I headed out .. 100% humidity though .. I felt like I was running in my shower!!

          6.3 miles done!

HUMMING: 'WHERE HAVE ALL THE RUNNERS GONE....'?

Thursday AM: Ran 4.3 miles before work. It was MUCH easier without that intense sun!!! Humid, but COOL!

Off to the shower, then off to work!

I was in a funk gradually I am comming out of it I am still workoing out like a wild Woman taking a running break then when it starts to cool off I will get back on the TM it's too hot and My hubby hasn't been home for 3 weeks which basically means no outdoor running either. DAMN I will run I have a few time on the TM but, the motor heats my house up sooo bad I can't do it, it's torture so I guess bike riding and weight lifting it is FOR NOW!!!

3 miles last night. Had to cut the run short in order to go meet some old high school friends. It was a lot of fun. Now my shoulder has been giving me problems - the rotator cuff. It is so sore but I am sure I will bounce back. Have a great weekend everyone! Happy running & exercising.

Monday evening, I did a slow 8.5 mile recovery run. Took 1:45 but it was blindingly hot. This evening, I am planning a 4 miler. and Sunday I am aiming to do a long long run, aiming for around half marathon distance to see if I can.

Saturday's run was a fun one .. along beautiful Bayshore Boulevard, which was a part of my marathon route back in February .. a little tougher in July heat, but 13.56 miles complete!

                          Weekly total: 6.3, 6.3, 4.3 13.56 = 30.46
