  • Not-So-Cool Running for the week of August 6, 2006

    Well I decided in view of the horrendous heatwave across the nation, perhaps changing the name of the thread would be appropriate .. so for the month of August, we will appropriately change it!

    No run for me today, since I had a pretty good mileage week last week and certainly can use a rest day to recover. Will do other things, though ... perhaps go bowling and put in 5 or 6 games.

    4 miles this morning, a fair bit slower than I have been recently, but I did cycle 5 miles before it.

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      I ran 3.5 miles Hill training I am getting back into it Guys My meds are kicking in and I am feeling really good right now SOOO modivated this morning.

        4 miles yesterday. I went a different route so it was nice to change it up. The weather was actually pretty nice with a slight breeze. Today we are getting the rain but should still be hot.

            Monday evening, 5 miles. 47:41 - fairly happy with that, as it was a training run and quicker than usual for training.

                    Saturday: 8.5 miles done. I have not taken my vits in 2 days and that was obvious because my run was PATHETIC! Off to take my vits now!

                    26.6 miles this week.

                      Crazy week @ work with being away from home for 3 days straight...

                      I was left with working out on the elliptical trainer for 2 days, running 1 mile before the power shutoff, and then doing 6 miles this morning @ slightly less than 9 min/mile pace.
