  • My atkins menu and exercise

    Hi everybody,
    Today is my 2nd day of atkins. I am experiencing terrible carb withdrawl symptoms.I want a advice on my menu diet
    Breakfast:2 hard boiled eggs
    Lunch:4 hard boiled eggs
    Dinner: Steam chicken breast pieces(2 large) with a small bowl of cucumbers, onions and tomatoes and 2 boiled eggs.
    I am not a cheese and mayonnaise lover.In addition i am excercising 1 hr daily and drinking 8 glasses of water.But after my exercise i get terrible craving for eating carb rich foods which get very difficult to tolerate. I feel depress and irritable.Due to these terrible craving for carb in past i had started induction so many times but cheated on 2nd or 3 rd day. I am desperate to loose those extra pounds quickly in 2 months before my sis wedding but scared of withdrawl effects.plz help .

    I would suggest spreading your vegetable out over the day and measuring them to make sure you're having 3 cups.

      yep spread your veggies out to all meals idealy you should be eating everything you eat some carbs some protein and some fats in the propper atkins ratio so you are priming your body with the food to burn your body fat all day long too.

      you are going to feel bad as you go through withdrawls just like a junkie does when they go through withdrawals but know in 2-3 days your physical addiciton part will be over and you will start feeling much better.

      go slow as you start exercising cause your body needs time to switch and generate the equipement in large amounts it needs for rapid energy supplying from fats after being a primary sugar burner for so long.
