    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      I also did 13.1 on Saturday, but it was just a training run ... gearing up for my races which are coming up ssssssssssssoooooooooooooon!!

        Wednesday: raining in the morning, so my run was postponed until after work. 6.3 miles, 1 hour 12 minutes.

          OH it gives me joy to come here and see you two going at it I am soo missing running and I can't hardly wait till I am posting my running again I really hope I don't totally lose it it's been sooo long it feels like forever can't wait to be here agin I walked for 20 minutes today though it was sooo hard!!!

            Great job, Sarah! 20 minutes of walking a day will go a long ways toward keeping you in shape for your running! I know you will be back out there running mega miles very soon!

            Thurs: 5.2 miles in before work. 1 hour.

              Hi Everyone,

              Can I join in this thread? A question do I count only running & jogging or is walking also counted?

              I am running again 2-3 times a week again after a number of years of not doing it because of a ski accident. As you know no exercise and eating at the same level = gaining a lot of weight. Easing my way back into it by taking it slow. So far this week have clocked up nearly 10 miles of running.

                  Thanks for the welcome Betty. Seeing you and others on the forum pounding the pavement was the inspiration that I needed to get back into doing this - thanks!

                  Off and running today clocked up another 3.75 miles for a total of 13.5 running miles this week. Gee that runner's high feels even better on Atkins!
