    Calf Rocking With Chair


    Starting Position
    Stand with knees slightly bent, feet hip-width apart.

    Action
    Slowly lift heels, rolling onto toes (but not tiptoes). Lower. Shift weight into heels and lift toes off floor to complete one rep.

    Special Instructions
    Hold onto a chair or wall if you need help balancing. Keep breathing steady.

    I do that one just before a race. I postion myself on the edge of the kerb on the sidewalk (pavement to us brits) and raise and lower my heels.

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

          jack always has hurting feet, legs, heels.
          i wonder if this one would help him? you know, helping to stretch things out? getting him to do it will the battle.

          okay, i'll do this one today and probably the bicep dumbbells curls from yesterday. i think i can manage the 11 pound weights for those. we'll see.
