  • Sarah's Recommitment to Exercise Journal

    This is a Journal in the exercise section for me. I need a place to go and to kick my ars so that's what I am doing. I have been slacking and starting Monday I will have a plan in place to get my Hiney in gear again and really start to make some serious body changes in myself.

    I expect that I will ahve people in here cheering and kickin my but, and I would love anyone to join me in my journal especially if you need a kick!!
    It's gunna be great.

      what a great idea! I'll join you ...I've been a huge slacker lately...Haven't been to the gym in a couple of weeks, i've commited to going back Monday, so if i remember (a big problem of mine LOL) i'll start posting my gym days in here!

        Excellent I have my running gear on right now as soon as my daughter steps out the door for school I am running I am gunna start slow with 30 minutes every day if I can and move up from there. I also plan of lifting weights so I ahve 1 hour per day of exercise.

        I am so glad that I ahve you here for support as well.

          Got my run in for today Makes me happy went well. ran 2.8 miles and then walked for 10 minutes so it was good.

            Running will be out for me at least for the next few days, I blew my knee out on the weekend . I did walk with the dog about a mile today but i'm trying not to push it too much.

            Did 20 mins pilates, some exercise ball crunches, 3 sets of 20 ball chest presses and 20 modified chin ups. I'm not giving up on exercise cause of the knee, i'll just have to work around it!

                Hi Sarah, I've got so many places I'm recording my exercise, it's like a chore.

                However, I started with you and I'm still here with you. I walk/run intervals for 3 miles today and 36 minutes. I walked for 1 mile at lunch.

                    Sorry guys the docs switched my meds to give me something tht is covered partially by my health plan I also have been able to get government support for my meds but, I don't like the new ones I ahve to take it 3 times a day where as the other was one every 4 days but, I can't afford 160 just for that so I had to switch, I ahve had a pretty severe migrain for 2 days it's starting to lessen now but, I can't do a whole lot right now.

                      Hope your feeling better soon sarah, but take it easy on yourself if you're not feeling well!

                      I'm still off of running for the week giving my knee a break, but I have been doing my pilates, ball crunches and chin ups. My goal is to be able to do one real chinup LOL. Right now i'm doing modified where i have to keep my feet on the floor but rest enough bodyweight to make it difficult.

                        Cool Sadie that's a gooder have you done Negatives where you go to the top of the chin up like jump yourself ap there and slowly let your body down slow as you can your entire body weight. It's ahrd and you will be sore. You shuld try iut and tell me what ya think he he he

                          I haven't been logging to my very own exercise journal I have been exercising and basically only dancing around my house but, I get a good workout so it makes me feel good to do it at least I can that's the main thing. But today....today I had a great day and felt the urge to run I love running and I ran for 1 hour WOOHOOOO!!! I am sooo happy I could do it and I felt good all the way so that's a huge accomplishment for me cause a week or so ago I could barely do 25 and I did an hour today so something is going right YAY!!

                            I ran for 30 minutes and walked for 10 minutes a total of 3.4 miles my HR was way high today. I then went down and did supersets for my upper body it was hard I feel so wimpy!!
