    Crunches
    Starting Position
    Lie on the floor or a mat on your back, with knees bent and hands behind head. Feet should be flat on the ground. Keep a space between your chin and chest (looking diagonal towards the ceiling).

    Action
    EXHALE: Raise your chest until your shoulder blades lift off the floor.

    INHALE: Slowly lower back to floor.

    Special Instructions
    Don't use your hands and arms to help lift you up - use abdominals and hips.

    I tried to do the last exercise throughout the day and they are quick and simple. Thanks for sharing these mini-workouts with us! I like them a lot!!

      if you get a backless chair or use your fitness ball as your chair you can do reverese crunches all day long as you work on your computer too

        i do a variation of this using the ball. i lie flat on the floor and put my legs up on the ball
        then crunch away.
        i don't do enough of them but they are my list of things i do.
