    Monday, 10/23: 6.3 mile run into a brisk wind. Yes, the cold front has *FINALLY* arrived.

    Sunday 22nd Oct - 10mile road race 1:36:41 in torrential rain, not pleasant, but fun none the less.

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      Great job on the 10 mile race Rich.

      2.5 miles yesterday and 5 miles for today. It was muddy and slippery today!!

                  Hey all. 4 miles in today. Been gone way too long. It's the same old got a little off plan followed by a lot of plan followed by 6 months of weight gain.

                  Anyway. I'll be back real regular like next week. I'm running 3 miles tomorrow and just 2 Saturday leading into the Marine Corps Marathon. Pretty nervous. This will be my second marathon. Did the first one in 4:49. Looking to be in the 4:30s somewhere.

                  I look forward to catching up on what everybody's been doing.

                  I'm too embarassed to update my current weight.

                    Running rest day Thursday went for a 3 mile walk. 5.5 miles running today.

                      WELCOME BACK RICH!! I had issued an APB for you a while back .. took them a little longer to find you than I had hoped! Anyway, GLAD TO SEE YOU AGAIN. Don't worry; you will shed those pounds in a hurry during that marathon! I know you'll do well!!!!

                      Off day for me today. Not sure if I'll have my LSD run tomorrow or Sunday. Its supposed to maybe rain in the morning, but Sunday's forecast looks nice so maybe I'll wait for that.

                          My running for today was a very gentle 5k with a female work colleague. It took just under 35 minutes, which was perfect preparation for me for my race on Sunday, and was perfect for her just breaking back into running again.

                          My legs now feel wonderful, I dont often exercise during my working day. (except for climbing stairs, but that doesnt really count).

                            Great job, Rich .. don'tcha just love those easy runs? I think they do more for me than the all-out efforts ...

                              Sunday is going to be hard. Its around 7 miles and the last mile is on sand!
