    A 12k off road race this sunday coming (29th Oct)
    another half marathon on Sunday 19th Nov
    An 8 mile off roader on Sunday 26th Nov
    and a 10k on Sunday 3rd December.

    Just in case anyone was interested that is

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

    woo hoo Rich sounds like you think your knee is doing better and will hold up to those miles.

    So when you were the before Atkins you did you even dream of running a 1/2 marathon one day?

      If someone had said to me 3 years ago that I would be running 13 miles I would have laughed and of course not believed them.

            The first of those 4 runs was yesterday and it was so hard. It said in the description that it was multi terrain - they werent lying. Through mud (ruined trainers) up a rock which had to be walked, and 3 miles on sand. 1 mile of which was that horrible soft sand which you feel as if you arent moving on. Really hard work. But fun none the less.

            Usual goal met ie I didnt come last. Finished it in 1:20:05.

            Now got two weeks off before the next one......
