    OKAY!!!! Well, i FINALLY went to the gym i have been back a part of for 2 weeks now. AND i worked out for 40 Minutes on the cardio machines!!!! The bop is needed lol because i am such a goof, i forgot how much this cardio movie theater at my gym motivates me to keep moving. I forgot how much i enjoy going to the gym and working out. I feel WONDERFUL, i mean seriously. my whole demeanor is wooohoo, i just want to grab someone and do the wriggle dance!!!! Okay where is my lil bouncy guy??? this is what i feel like lol

    okay i am done now lol bye!!

    ABSTRACT! You are going to turn into a gym rat! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    I LOVE going to the gym, too! I love that feeling you get after you've had a good work out and a good sweat. I am so happy that you did a good thing for yourself!

        yes, i feel silly fighting it for so long. The only thing i have to do now is figure out my weekly schedule. i really would love to get in the habit of going in the morning which mean getting to the gym between 5 and 5:30 so i can get home by 630 to get ready for work. That way if i feel like working out after work, which i don't a lot, it will be a double bonus and more exercise. And if i am really ambitious lol i can try and get in the habit of doing both. I am lucky, i have no one but me so my time unless i am at work is my own.

        I am so excited because i just found out that my gym opens at 9 to 7 on Sunday. Before when i use to go there it was only open from 12-5. And that was frustrating because i like more time to decide when to go lol. i noticed yesterday that i was motivated by all the guys working out on the weight machines. Some of them were what i call work out peacocks, they are there to be seen as much as working out, but many of them were there to work out. i am going to find out who the trainers are and start watching them with their clients. I don't want a peacock trainer when i finally get to that stage. What i also might do is watch the people who work out, and i might ask one of them if they would be willing to be a trainer for less money than the trainers, and give him bonuses and such. But that's another day.

        Wow i am awfully chatty these last couple days, sorry for the long posts.

          woo hoo for you. your memebership should include soem free sessions getting all the machines explained and a workout on them set up. Most gyms offer those as a perk of joining. Check it out at your front desk.

          Woo hoo on the csrdio. if you don't know about superhydrastion of muscle tissues after new to them workouts don't panic if your scale goes up or doesn't go down ofr a week or 2 as you adjust to your new work load for those muscles once they learn the new load is the noraml load they will release the fluids they are holding on to and poof you will see a nice drop.

            Morning 2big, thanks for the explanation!!! i can now prepare myself and hang though it. Yes the people told me i have a free session with a trainer. I will probably give myself a week or so to get sitiated before taking advantage of it. i know i should get started right away lol but the movie cardio theater is dark and i don't want to put myself out there just yet, so i can get comfortable just walking into the gym. i know its silly, but the demons don't go away in a day lol. i think that's why i like this gym so much because of the dark place to work out in the guise of a movie theater lol. Once i get into some semblance of shape, i would like to integrate into some classes and then into spinning. i heard the wonders of spinning that it really gives you a good cardio work out and its 45 minutes and it goes by quickly.

              nice plan as you want to be in good cardio shape before you start lifting so you can gain maximum safe benefits from it. you can turn your treadmilling into a great fatburning cardio workout too id you use the HIIT principle go as fast as you can for one min and then recover to your fatburning heart rate for a min the repeat. as you get in better shape it will be one min fast one min slow buit right now it will be one fast and about 5 slow as you build up. What you are doing is clearing all the glucose from your muscles nd blood and they scream for the fat burning hormone to kick in so you get emergency release of body fats and those you burn off in the slower fatburning mode as fats to ATP in the sugar cycle need oxygen then the sugars made in the liver during fat burning are increaeing your blood sugar levels so you want to clear them out again so you cn burn more fat. vicious cycle isn't it the very chems needed to work the fat burning cycle are also the omes tht generate sugar in the liver. the reason we only go 1 min max is cause we don't want the body to dump the emeregency sugar reserves from out organs into our blood stream as that would delay fatburning.

                Oh cool, i will try that, and thanks for reminding me, i need to figure out what my fatburning heartrate is, the machine did it yesterday but the whole time i was working out it kept telling me to slow down and if i had slowed down anymore i would have been stopped on the devil machine (elliptical). so it seems i will be taking a couple days to get it all figured out. I love the idea of the one minute fast and 5 slow lol the last 3 minutes of the 40 i did yesterday i was really starting to breathe hard and i don't think i was working all that hard.

                i can't WAIT until i am addicted to exercise. i did notice yesterday that even though i ate, i couldn't eat that much at one sitting, i made egg salad with 4 eggs yesterday with mayo and bacon and only at half of it and i was full. i mean really full. It was strange. But good!! lol the less cals i eat along with the less carbs and more working out lol the more this weight will drop off!

                  when you get your heart rate out of the target zone you have told the machine you want to be in it slowes you down till your recover then it will let you workout more again unmtil you get out of range agian.

                    Okay today i worked out 50 minutes!!!! i am a little disappointed in myself but am dealing with it, i started out 15 on the devil machine, 15 on the bike no prob, then i went back to the devil machine and set it for 20 and i had to stop after 7.43 minutes. I thought i would be able to go longer. So i rested a bit, then went and did the bike for another 15 minutes.

                        Thanks chickee!! i am pretty proud of myself too. Next obstacle, getting up and going at 445 to the gym so i can get there by 515 work out til 6 and get home by 615 lol to get ready for work. My thing is to set the alarm which i have and to drag my buy out of bed lol. The snooze button is just WAY to easy!

                            chuckles, that's what i am hoping too. I may even go to bed earlier but it seems when i do that i am more tired in the AM, or wake up around 2 and can't get back to sleep. We shall see. Mondays are usually a rest day for me, but i've decided not take a rest day for a week or so and get my exercise as a habit.
