    Calf Raises with Wall
    Starting Position
    Stand with feet shoulder width apart, with or without dumbbells.

    Action
    Raise up on balls of feet, and hold for 2 seconds, Return to start position and repeat.

    Special Instructions
    As you progress, use one foot at a time.

    i use to do these long ago. i would put my feet farther back a little and really stretch that calf muscle. why did i quit doing them?

    i think i can add this to the ever growing list of things to do.

      When Matt and I were working out together I'd always skip the calf exercises because genetically I have strong calves and they always feel tight/solid. So, I usually skip working this part.

      On the otherhand, Matt's thighs are well-defined, but his calves aren't and he does these exercises (when he works out) and they work great.
