  • Twitching legs...

I'm not really concerned about it, but I'd still like to know an answer or an explanation as to why I keep getting twitchy legs after using a cardio "running" machine for about an hour.

I use some type of gazelle-like machine in the gym for about an hour for a good cardio work out and everytime I get done with it ((I just incorporated that into my schedule))whenever I finally sit/lay down it feels like my skin is just JERKING all over the place or like little pockets of air are just popping in my legs...

I mean, I feel fine and my muscles feel fine, but I wanna make sure this isn't a bad sign and if other people experience it... I've heard of sore muscles but this is something I've never heard anyone has had before

the twitching is small muscles spasms. your nerves are excited and not shutting off does it hurt or sting?

I'd say it also might be heat and body fluid related if it's happening after you exercise. Leg twitching can be caused by getting overheated and losing a lot of body fluids. It should improve within 4 hours of increased water intake. Watch that sweating, and keep a water bottle handy and replenish your body afterwards! As long as the symptom isn't lasting an over extended period of time, I'd say that's it!
