  • ADBB Exercise of the Day 12/14/06

    Push ups on Ball
    Starting Position
Start behind the ball, place your midsection on the ball and roll forward until your hands reach the floor. Walk out with your hands until the ball is underneath your knees. Have your hands just outside of shoulder width.

    Action
Keep your core strong by not dropping your hips. Your body should be as straight as possible. Lower your upper body to 90 degree at the elbow and return to the starting position. Try doing 2 sets of 10-12 repetitions.

    Special Instructions
For a more advanced version, walk out on the ball until the ball is underneath your ankles

To make this exercise extra tough, do the press ups so whilst only having your feet on the ball (instead of your thighs) - so that your arms are further away from the ball.

    This exercise is a killer!

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

ack............... jess, did you know i have not been these so much lately?
5 minutes of these will kill me. i will have to take a break in between sets and i will have to start the ball at my thighs. no, maybe i should start at my shins when i have more strength.
