Is it possible to do too many crunchers in a day? I mean, is there a point you would get to each day where they wouldnt' be doing anything anymore, or actually being counter productive? Or can you just keep on pluggin' away? (This question comes with the assumption that you subscribe to the "ab work every day" theory, instead of the "rest a day inbetween" theory.)

Re: "Too many" crucnhers?
Abs are muscles, and technically they should be "rested." This means, don't do an AB-SPECIFIC workout everyday...your abs are still used in like, 99% of exercises--so even if I don't do an ab workout, I still use them and work them if I run, do the elliptical machine, free weights, etc.
And as always, it's not how many reps you do, but that you're doing the CORRECTLY. Form is the most important thing--if you're doing it "right" you'll feel it sooner.START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170
