  • Body Fat Calipers

    Hey all!

Well I just had a body fat test done at my gym--unfortunately it WASN'T a caliper test (it was just a scale that basically took my weight and told me how fat it thought I was) and I don't trust the results.

Do any of you own your own body fat calipers? What is a good brand/model to purchase? I think I just want to just buy my own so I can measure at my discretion.

    Any advice on this topic?

    Re: Body Fat Calipers

It isn't just the calipers...it's the technique and location. In an experienced capable hand they're very accurate apparently, within a % or 2 of dunk tank results. Badly handled they have a huge margin of error.
