  • Sarah's Half Marathon Training log!!!

    YUP, I am going to do it again. I decided that I have to I love running and it was amazing. I ahve had a whole lot of heck going on so I am gunna start out modestly and work up again. My milage is masically nil and I need to inprove on that and with my new job it's gunna be hard and I know it but. I know if there is anyone I can count on to do things it's me so here I am throwing it all out I am going to spend the money and get registered then I HAVE to do it NO EXCUSES. I am not waisting my money or my time.

    This is day one. I am going to do a modest 2 miles and see where I am at this morning.

        Finished my 2 miles I am very happy that I haven't lost it I did the 2 in 25 minutes and so I have a bit of work to do and my lungs hurt a bit but, my legs felt great so the endurance in my legs is still AOK but the cardiovascular kinda went down. I know that will vastly improve with consistancy.

          Good morning all well I must say I am super sore today after my HIIT 2 miles well HIIT for me now EEEK. My hams are sore and well my whole body. I plan to do another 2 miles here today a nice slow 2 miles lol. I will let ya know how it goes I don't wanna push so hard I don't wanna do it so I am taking it slow. I have a little over 4 months to train so the panic isn't on. I will build my base up then go from there.

            WOOHOOO I ROCK!!!!!! I can't tell you how darn impressed I am with myself today. Well, I was running thinking oh ya do 4 miles that ought to rock, and here I am I got runners high and well, the 4 was shot out of the water I ran 8.2 miles in 1 hour 36 minutes and I felt AWESOME!!!! YAY me. I can hardly believe that my body will allow me to do that after everything. It loves me it really loves me HE HE HE

                  OMG Sarah! You are absolutely STUNNING in that picture. Just gorgeous!

                  And, way to go on the 8 mile run, that is great and it had to feel great!

                    It did feel fabulous Waht a way to bring in the week. Well I have to tell ya all though today I am SORE SORE ouch man alive not like super Half Marathon sore but, definately sore just the same. My hip flexors especially.

                    I ahve to make up a HUGE batch of my protein Pancakes today I take em to work and make sandwiches and stuff with them so I can go low carb all the way.

                      I tried to put that pic in my siggie and well it won't show so I ahve no idea what is going on now ACK.

                      Any how I ran 3 miles today so I am very pleased with myself. I would like to run tomorrow morning but, I would have to get up at 3:30 am to do that so we'll see how early I get to bed tonight.

                        Hey all Well, I did it I registered for the Halfer and so I am officially going to be running it on May 20th of this year YAY me. I ahve to get training, I have been very sick andf had full intentions of running here this weekend and I got drugged while I was out with my Boyfriend. We are not sure how it happened but it did and so I am scared to go out. I wasn't even having alcohol, the only way we can figure is it was in the creamer or someone dumped it in while we were watching the hockey game. make a long storey short, I was a mess I don't remeber a thing and I guess I was combative and such and am lucky my BF didn't just leave me on the side of the road. he knew something was wrong though and took me to see my friend who is a Fire fighter and they rushed me into the hospital. From there I was rushed to red deer for a catscan which was ok so I lost 5 hours of my life where I have been asking myself what happened and all I get is what people tell me.

                        So be careful where you are and don't think cuase you are with your drinks that it won't happen to you.

                          Ran 2 miles need some consistancy. It takes small steps to work Big so here's to the little steps that will take me to goal and my Halfer!!!

                            I've been bad at posting in here but, I am finally getting on track annd well I ran 2 miles on Wed and Thursday I ran 2.5 now if I want to keep this up tomorrow I have to run at like 3:30 am so it'll be an early one for me EEK!!! But if I want this weight off bad enough I WILL do it.
