  • Slim in 6 vs Power 90

Hey guys, wow it has been a while since I've been on the board. I haven't gained any weight I fluctuate 5 pounds up and down or so but no major gain.

I did have surgery back in October though and lost a ton of muscle mass. I am finally able to get back into the workout routine and started doing Slim in 6 again. Yikes and ouch, man I didn't realize how much muscle I lost during that week in the hospital bed, geez!

Well I heard Power 90 was great and ordered it today. For those of you who have both programs which do you find the most effective?

Re: Slim in 6 vs Power 90

I did Slim in 6 and am doing Power 90 right now. I like them both--I think slim in six may help you get leaner, but Power 90 really builds up some muscles I really needed. I'll probably alternate between them a couple of times a year--I think they're both great. Debbie kinda gets on my nerves with the smiling and saying --Now 8 more! But, the results were impressive to me.

Good luck! There's a new Slim in 6 thread in the challenges, I asked if I could post doing Power 90, too. Come on over and keep me company.

          I'm glad you're doing better.

Re: Slim in 6 vs Power 90

Personally, I find P90 to be sorely lacking in lower body conditioning. It's fantastic for upper body strength and that's exactly what I've used it for, but Slim In Six is a much better full body workout. It definitely concentrates on the lower body, but for upper body strength with Si6, you create your own limitation (add more weight!).

I always go back to Si6!
