  • Any thoughts?

Hello all, I'm new to the exercise board. Started Induction yesterday, and I'd like to start exercising day after tomorrow. I have bad knees, and I planned on buying an exercise bike tomorrow, and the GoFit Ultimate ProGym its a go-anywhere, train-anytime home gym that comes complete with a Core Performance training DVD. According to the site: whether you're building size and strength, or increasing muscle definition, the key to the ProGym is the ability to add or subtract resistance. You can obtain 7 levels of resistance by creating different combinations of the tube strengths. Regardless of your fitness level. It contains:

    • The ProGym contains two handles, three resistance tubes (1-5 lbs, 1-10 lbs and 1-15 lbs), two ankle straps, one door anchor, a workout manual and a Core Performance workout on DVD led by Mark Verstegen
    • A nylon carry bag is included for storage or travel

    Re: Any thoughts?

Sorry for the delay in someone getting back to you.

With exercise I think what ever you can do is good. Do what you can and you will improve quickly. I think you should go ahead with your purchase and I hope you enjoy it.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

I'm sorry... I didn't see this post. It's great you're starting the exercise. It makes such a huge difference. And exactly what Rich said - what ever you can do is good. The bike's great... I'm not sure what kind of contraption you can build with those parts, but I strongly believe that any exercise program should have strength training as well as cardio so it looks like you've got it all under control.
