    Re: Fat Burn vs. Cardio

Once you get to your set weight, or close to it, the weight stop "falling off" or "peak".

I stand behind my comments 100%. It's anyone choice to do as they wish. This will maximize the effort all the more.

If you have a url to these new studies I would like to read them.

      Re: Fat Burn vs. Cardio

I would love to share, but I learn about a lot of these through Oxygen magazine, and I am currently in Europe, and they are currently in the US. Maybe google it?

I feel like being 12 pounds from my set weight is probably considered "close" so i'm pretty sure i know what i'm talking about.

As always, people are going to pick their own path, i am just trying to ensure that they are well informed to make their own decisions. You standing behind your comments doesn't change me sharing information. I wasn't attacking you personally, just trying to ensure people knew everything instead of older information from when you were a body builder.

      Best of luck.

        Re: Fat Burn vs. Cardio

None taken. I think it's great we can discuss these issues. It is a forum and that's the idea.
I have followed Bill Phillips (Body for Life creator) since 1993. He sold his EAS company a few years back for 160 million. EAS is all over the place as far as health and fitness. What serious athlete doesn't use EAS. This guy, bar none, is the "Joe Wieder" of this era. The top athletes today, and movie stars, seek his guidance and philosophy. Google it and you can see this isn't off the cuff. I highly reccomend his book.
On his Body for Life plan he clearly explains this theroy and still holds true to this day. Obvioulsy this would be geared more toward athletes with more of a carbohydrate intake.
I trying to apply to those who reach their goal weight and have to intake a few more carbs (or those who have reached a plateau or maybe slipped on the diet to accelerate thier progress). We are all different and our bodies will use different amounts. I'm sure I will have to intake more than 20 carbs a day at some point but with this exersize regimine but I won't have to really worry about "excess" carbs.
I did find a link here I found.
Part 5: What Happens To Your Body When You Fast? - Exercising and The Rest | Life Spotlight - No BS Fitness, Health and Living
Like being republican or democrat, we can all find points to dwell on.
Exersize is fundamental at the least. We can reach back 20 - 30 years ago and it hasn't changed. What has changed? SUPPLEMENTS.
There really isn't any "old school" style of thinking I don't think.
        Anyway thanks for the reply!!
