  • question about exercise...

this may be a dumb question but i was wondering why do the trainers tell you to hold your abs in while you exercise. Because i'm doing 'slim in six' and she keeps saying hold your abs in and thats pretty annoying when you are tired and even more difficult when you have a gut. is holding your stomach in required when you exercise?

    Re: question about exercise...

When you hold your stomach in while exercising this is called CORE training and what it does is amazing. It actually works your abs improves your posture and also slims your waist. In time you will notice you do this without trying. I have always dond this and slouching is very hard and actually hurts now that I got the great abs that work out all the time. I also find my back is not sore and my midsection is getting very defined. It's hard when you start but soon enough it'll be something you always do withut thinking.
