  • Workout Music?

I hope this is the right forum to post this...

What do all of you listen to while working out? I want to get some real heart pumping music on my mp3 player. Some really upbeat, fast pace stuuf - doesn't matter from what decade. I'm not a huge music person, so I don't know a lot of the names of songs.

      Re: Workout Music?

RIght now I have a play list set up on my MP3 player with fast paced songs pulled from several albums, Three Doors Down "A Better Life", Green Day "American Idiot", My Chemical Romance "Welcome to the Black Parade". and several from various Dance Mix albums from the 90s. Might not be your cup of tea but they really get me going.

On the reverse side I also like listening to talk radio, I have a bunch of downloaded shows from NPRs This American Life that keep me entertained. These are great too as they really get me interested and take my mind off what my body is doing.

Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Korn, that type of thing...then throw in some Black Eyed Peas like "pump it"...Buck Cherry "crazy B*tch" (good one, but dirty...lol) and a whole mess of country music that I'd never have time to list in a million years, and you've got it for me

I don't think those count as upbeat, CJB... Most music that has more than two lines of screaming in it, isn't considered so. Well, the last two probably would be comparatively.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had only heard of a few of them, but DH has a lot of what was suggested on his ipod, so I will be good to go!

I LOVE that Crazy B*** song! My husband introduced it to me - go figure Def'ly not something I turn on with the kids in the car!

I have Nickelback, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Panic at the Disco, Papa Roach, a little country like Little Big Town and even Charlie Daniels "Devil Went Down to Georgia"
