Do you think those calorie meters on exercise equipment?
I used to work out on this older treadmill and it would tell me a certain amount (after entering my weight). Then I'd go and use some newer equipment and it would invariably be higher amount of calories burned. We got a new treadmill and you enter your weight and age and the amount of calories is about 25% higher.
How accurate are these things?
