  • Cool Running for the week of March 25, 2007

What? No new thread for this week? Slackers Yeah, like I should talk.

Anyway, 5 miles (54:50) took almost 5 minuts off friday's time, so almost back to where I left off at the end of January. Now back to my goal of under 10 minute miles again.

Two more runs this week and I'll make my March running goal.

Yes I'm eating a smore in the picture, how do you think I got so fat?

No slacking off here! Mondays and Fridays are scheduled "off" days.

Back at it today. 4 miles in nice and slow. Dialing it back a notch all week getting ready to run the half marathon on Sunday.

I am back at it now that the weather is nice and I can finally run outside. 4 miles yesterday and it felt great! I have been running a little bit inside on the treadmill but mostly doing aerobic classes and lifting weights. Happy Spring with the great running weather!!

Hope you don't mind if I use you guys for motivation. As I said elsewhere...trying to get my running act together. You seem to have formed a good support group here.

In part I think you all are helping with my comfort level. Not being a lifetime exerciser I get a bit intimidated discussing it face to face with "experienced runners". I think it feels kind of like getting out on the dancefloor without a couple of drinks first....that insecurity

Hmm I'm late to the party as usual. Can I join in each week? I'm trying to improve my running abilities!
