  • Sports bras??

I wasnt sure where to post this but i thought exercise would be best?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend where to buy really good sports bras? I need something that will offer FULL support when i am jogging and doing cardio?

    Re: Sports bras??

My favourite bras for jogging are by Bestform, and I get them at walmart for less that $20! they have all different styles, underwire, low intensity, high intensity , front close, back close etc. I'm only a c cup, but i do know they have various larger sizes as well. The ones i get are usually around $16 canadian.

I find the underwire ones the best looking, they don't give you that 'uni-boob' look in a tight top

I spent $50 on a Champion running bra at a specialty store when I first started running and I only wear it when all the others are in the wash...It's got the worst support of all of them.

I also have a wonderbra full support sports bra that i'm happy with as well. but it was around $30.

One thing I would recommend is definately trying it on at the store, and when you are sure it's a good fit, jump up and down several times in teh change room to make sure it's got good bounce support.

I suggest exactly the same thing for trying them on... I have about 10 bras, 3 of which I wear...

One is a danskin or something from Target, the other 2 are Hind (which are pretty pricey - $45/ea, but I *love love love* these). Moving Comfort is also on the higher end and has really great reviews. Hind and Moving Comfort are available at EMS...

Victoria's Secret is having 40% off their sports stuff, and they say they have maximum support bras, I haven't had a chance to test them out, but I *am* curious about them.

The Hind ones were the only ones that I could run in when I started. I know, I'm creepy... and anal, but it literally felt like I didn't have boobs... I know, weird, but it was the greatest thing to ever happen to me for running.

I totally love Enell and wouldn't go for anything else personally. It is a bit uniboob but makes running bearable, and I'm an E cup so I'm very impressed with them. They are front fastening and quite big, but when I jump up and down nothing moves

Lunaire also makes one I like, it has an underwire and no uniboob. I know Dillards sells them

i also heard enell was amazing, although i haven't shelled out the $$$ to get them. if you have a d cup or higher, i would stay AWAY from victorias secret sports bras. i have 3, and although they make your boobs LOOK nice in a tank top, the minute you start to run your girls will be bouncing all over the place...ouch.

I'm glad I checked out this thread. I live in sports bras. I just won a HIND one on an auction for .99! So I can't wait to get it.

I need support! although I seem to be losing my chest first.
