  • my exercisr journo.

    hi,
    im going to the gym 4-5 days aweek doing the following
    20 mins recumbant bike level 10 out of 20
    20 mins treadmill fast walking i plan to start running on it a bit more next week
    20 mins rower, level 5 out of 10 (tend to complete around 5600m in this time
    20 mins on crosstrainer at low setting.
    im not aching at all and have lost 22lbs in three weeks. i have no interest in weights or big muscle as im 6ft 1 anyhow.

    what sort of things should i also be doing to try and get myself up a level of fitness
    any tips appreciated

    You really do need to add some weight training to your routine aswell. You dont need to lift heavy weights, but it helps build definition. More reps of lower weights will tone you, not build muscle. But its something that you do need to do.

    Did you know that muscle actually burns of calories by just being there?

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      i do some light weights sometimes but as you can see im there for an hour and half and try and get as much in as i can,
      that said your right and i will try upper body weights i think this month as well
