  • List your exercise music

Come on, it'll be fun! List what is on your ipod that gets you moving toward your goal.

I do my jump rope workout w/Discharge "hear nothing see nothing say nothing" on my iPod. I like punk.

I do my crazy sprints in our parking garage to the soothing sounds of Vio-Lence, and Exodus "war is my shepherd; blacklist " in alternation. I'm from the SF Bay. so you pretty much liked metal/punk growing up.

    Re: List your exercise music

In general, I listen to more pop/mainstream music while working out, because some of it is made to make you want to shake your *** or get pumped for going out! Which serves my purpose, but I also throw in some of my favorites, to keep me interested.

Right now I have Lily Allen, P.O.S., Murs, Shakira, Jenny Lewis, Snoop Dogg, The Offspring, The Roots, Justin Timberlake, Amy Winehouse, The Misfits (Where Eagles Dare is the BEST song to work out to), and then just a bunch of current club hits. There are some older rock/rockabilly songs that are really good to use as well - Link Wray and Johnny Cash.

I'm interested to see what everybody works out to!

yeah -- if you're interested in EXERCISE MUSIC.....for gym music or music for fitness in general, I recommend European dance music.......

it's always the best motivational tool for me...

.... here's a compilation series on iTunes that I recommend -- the "Euro Club Hits" series:
