  • Which way is better....?

    As far as exercising to loose weight....is it better to
    jog 1 mile 3 different times a day or just jog for 3
    miles at one time? Or does it matter?

    Either way is a great way to incorporate exercise, but I believe you might burn more calories doing 1 mile 3x a day. It's like starting a car--it takes a lot of gas to start it, but once it's started, you don't drain as much fuel. Each time you "start" your body with exercise during the day, it burns a lot of calories upon start-up.

    If you're just starting out with running and you have the time, try doing 1 mile at a time. If you can do 3 miles at one shot, do that. Try mixing it up on some days.

    But really, as long as you're moving, and challenging yourself, it doesn't matter WHEN you do it, just THAT you do it!
