Last year, I could hardly move. I got winded just taking a few steps and I had arthrosis in both knees. Then last August, I got back on Atkins and started exercising in September.

Then today I get this from our gym. I was so excited!!! Not too bad for an overweight old dude! LOL

Without Atkins, and everybody's challenges on this board, there is no way that this could have happened. Thanks all!

Wow great job! I'm wondering how that information is recorded. Do you swip a card on the machine or manually log your exercise? Pretty neat that it's tracked and you can compare how you've done over time and against other people.

Actually, it is all computerized. You log your number in when you arrive at the gym. It sets up all the machines for you and when you get on each machine, whether it is cardio or weights, you punch in your code and it registers your workout. However, if you do a workout that isn't on the machines, such as swimming or walking, you go online and register your workout time and distance manually. It keeps a running total of all that you do. You update your weight manually also and it calculates your calories burned based on your weight. Then it compares you against others at the same gym or it will also compare you against others worldwide that are also on the Fitlinxx system. Pretty cool! Just another way to keep me motivated.
