Just curious.... What do you paddle, what type of water do you prefer, and where do you love to go? Day trips or overnight?
Me, I'm currently paddling a Dagger Blackwater, and originally intended to stick to flat water, but got bitten by the whitwater bug. I've so far only done class l-ll, and some protected bay areas, but by this time next year, I plan to have rewarded myself for my weight loss with a new Dagger Approach crossover boat, and do at least class lll. I'll decide from there if I'm going to go on to a full whitewater boat and continue going up in the thrill category, or if lll is enough for me. I paddle in local rivers, lakes and parts of the Chesapeake Bay in VA, and have only done day trips so far.

I am very novice. I am starting out in a basic lake and very slow moving rivers. I don't know how they get classified. Class 1 probably or maybe even 0. I hope to do it in early fall on the rivers as the leaves are changing here in New England.
