I have been trying to do my Yoga for beginners DVD and although I do all the moves and I make it through the whole time I still don't feel like I am doing anything. I enjoy the relaxation that comes with it but I thought I would feel it more. Am I doing something wrong??? I know I haven't quite gotten the breathing thing down yet so maybe I am focusing on that too much....any ideas???

Re: I don't think I am doing it right...
For me, the yoga is about stretching and relaxing. After I've gone to a yoga class, I feel just so mello and limber and free from pain. To really give the yoga a chance, really try to stretch (but always honor yourself by not pushing so hard that anything hurts). Whenever you exhale in a stretch, see if you can go just a tad bit deeper. You'll find, as you go along, that you are much more limber and flexible, and calmer.~Joy
