What is Exercise well exercise can be a lot of things.
To me exercise is empowering, there is nothing like feeling your body move and knowing that with every step you are becomming that much closer to finding yourself.
Exercise can be a way to escape from everything. That moment in time when it's all about you and nothing can take that away from you. There are no bills to pay, no problems to worry you, it's just you and your body out to discover what it feels like to be free.
Exercise can boost your self esteem more than anything. I can't tell you how amazing it feels to look in the mirror and see what hard work has given you. Each step, each lift, each and every day you dedicate to your body shows not only on the inside, but also on the outside. When you look and see that new muscle or new shape nothing could make you smile bigger.
Exercise give you happy thoughts. Now you may think I am nuts you push and push and would think it might just make you crash, but it's the opposite. Exercise makes me happy and makes me feel good about my day.
Exercise gives you control. Not only are you in control of your body when you exercsie you are also in control over your mind. It's amazing how focused you can become by just dedicating a little bit of time each day to exercise. You can become free from cravings. I know for me, I eat less when I exercise, and I feel like I am in complete control over every aspect of my mind, body, and soul.
Exercise give you determination, I find that I am more determined in my every day. I want to go out and do my best, and work my best. Exercise shows others that you care enough about you that you would care that much about them. You are in fact each and every day giving yourself a gift of life, so that you can go on each day stronger and show your loved ones how great it is to not only love them, but love yourself. People learn by example and what a wonderful example you are setting each and every day you exercise.
Exercise makes you strong. I can tell you the most amazing thing was crossing the finish line of my half marathon. I was strong enough to get all the way to the end and the sence of Strength overwhelmed me as well as the sence of accomplishment. No chocolate bar or bag of chips could ever make me feel the way I felt that day.
Exercise a GIFT of life for you, a Gift of freedom, a gift of love, a gift of hope, a gift of passion. Exercise can give you everything.
