  • Calling all Slim in 6ers!

    I'm five days into another round of Slim in 6 and feeling the burn! Anyone else pushing their way through the squat-****'s madness? I might not be able to check in daily, but maybe we can get a support group going on. If theres already one, then point me in the right direction. I couldn't find any of the others.

      Yep, I'll be starting on Monday too...I love to hate it because I know it works and I can't walk right for days afterwards.

        Emma - Yup, she lies to us. She says "one more!" then its: "hold it, bring it down slow, now do eight more reps!" and here you thought you were finished.

        apple - I'm just now getting over the soreness. Today was the first day that I was able to say that the workout wasn't so bad. We'll see how long that lasts when I have to move on to BIU.

              I'll join you...I need to start this series again and it helps to have others who are going through the same thing!

              Getting ready to do Start It Up as soon as DS goes to bed, which will be in 17 minutes.

                  OK...I did Start It Up last night! I'm starting it again...I actually forgot just how annoying she is, but...it works, so I'll keep going with it.

                    Good job, Beanpole!!

                    Yesterday was a blurr of life....no SI6 started.

                    I have BIG plans to start today though...I've got to work out this middle area big time!

                    Good for all of you starting yesterday (and weeks before)! Don't forget the Tylonal/Advil whatever and drink lots of water!!!

                      I've been doing it since Dec 26. Took a couple of days off, but I'm back on it tomorrow. Good to join up with others to enjoy the misery and great results!

                            Did Ramp it up tonight. Anybody else get tired doing the leg exercises at the end? I do fine until then, but then I have to rest a little. Oh well, it's amazing how fast you build up endurance doing this.

                              Week Two - days 2,3, and 4 done Two more days of RIU to go. I don't want to move on to BIU.

                              Catherine - It does get easier the more you do it. Its just a challenge/work and a commitment. If you can hang in there long enough to get results, you'll probably be hooked. I remember the first round of Slim in 6 that I did. I ordered it right after I had my first child. Its gotten A LOT easier since then.
