I had mis counted. Its actually less than 3 months! Each time i go to the doctors I get fobbed off by a nurse. I am going to give it until Monday, and if no progress than I will be kicking up a fuss at them!
What is going to happen in 3 months time is and has always been my life long ambition! I cant stress enough how important it is to me.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!
RichT: Hope you feel better soon. What are your goals for the marathon? Have you run one before? With the marathon coming up so soon (10 weeks or so?), it will be difficult to get a normal marathon program in, but not impossible. If you're just looking to finish, you may want to look into Jeff Galloway's training methods. Jeff was at the Disney marathon and walk/ran a 3:45 marathon. Just an idea. Just know that one way or another you can do it. Lose the stress, it doesn't help.
Betty: Nice to see you continuing to pile up the miles.
As for me, I feel no aches, pains, or stiffness for the first time since the weekend. I start back running tomorrow. I have a new 18 week program set up (max at 55 miles per week) to get me to the start line at the Mad City (Madison, WI) marathon over Memorial Day weekend. Next week back to 30+ miles for the week.
Itching to get back out there, but I know I need these days off to avoid injury.
Rich, I just have to tell ya again...AWESOME JOB in the DW Marathon!!!! I am so happy you were able to do so well!!!! I know you'll rock the next one too!
Prya, you're doing VERY well! You won't be out of shape very long!!!! Keep up the great work and you'll be adding miles before you know it! Its about starting S L O W and building G R A D U A L L Y and you're doing a great job!
I plan a long run for tomorrow, but the forecast isn't cooperating .. supposed to be rainy and windy ... UGH .. I HATE WIND. Hope they're wrong ...
